The Conductor of the Grimsley High School Orchestra (as well as the Kiser Middle School Orchestra) is Britany Green Stimpson, pictured here with Greensboro Symphony Conductor Dmitri Sitkovetsky when he came to do a workshop with the Grimsley Orchestra. Known universally simply as "Ms. Green," she has been the Conductor of the Whirlie and Kiser Orchestras since the 2000-01 school year. Originally from New York, she is a 2000 graduate of UNC-Greensboro. Ms. Green is married to GCS Assistant Principal Howard Stimpson, and they have two children.
